Wildlife Nutrition & Genetics Expert
Ryan was raised in the heart of Central Texas in the town of Meridian, where he grew up working on his family’s cow-calf operation. Splitting his time between ranch work and sports, he developed a deep-rooted passion for whitetail deer hunting at an early age. His interest in deer management was sparked by two key mentors: Ray Murski and Bob Langford. Bob introduced him to the world of high-fence ranching and deer breeding, while Ray provided firsthand experience in wildlife management and guided hunts. These experiences laid the foundation for his future in the hunting and ranching industry.
After graduating from Tarleton State University with a degree in economics, he returned to Meridian and fully immersed himself in deer management. He purchased his first breeder deer and began working with multiple ranches, handling everything from deer pen management to guiding hunts. His work naturally led him to ranch real estate, where he quickly realized the demand for hunting properties. He became a licensed real estate agent and joined Whitetail Properties, leveraging his expertise in hunting land to help clients acquire and develop top-tier ranches.
In 2015, he consolidated his work into K3 Land & Whitetail Services Inc., a full-service operation dedicated to developing and managing recreational and commercial hunting properties. His team scouts and brokers land, oversees infrastructure improvements, stocks ranches with wildlife, and provides consulting on herd management and nutrition programs.
Expanding on his passion for whitetail genetics, he launched Cervid Complete in 2018, a premium deer feed brand developed through years of research and feed trials. The product has gained traction across Texas, improving deer herds by enhancing fertility, reducing mortality, and maximizing antler growth.
Today, he continues to manage hundreds of deer, develop premier hunting properties, and consult with landowners on creating thriving outdoor businesses. His extensive knowledge of whitetail deer, land development, and wildlife nutrition makes him a sought-after expert in the industry.
If it’s deer-related, Ryan has done it or is doing it.
